Until 2006, Daniel Salisbury wove extensively on modern era handweaving equipment, creating a wide array of singular textiles.  His original pattern designs took advantage of a cutting edge digital interface to keep track of the looms’ 16 harnesses. Over the years his color sense was expressed through nuanced hand dyed techniques, on handwoven products ranging from fine silk wearables to blanket weights and architectural scale pieces.

A textile sensibility continues to inform & influence Salisbury’s current work.
