About Hex Weave….
As in typical bi-directional weaving, patterns in the tri-directional Hex Weave can be entirely regular or manipulated for visual effect or 3’Dimensional shaping. Mad Weave works up well using elements that are flat strips; ribbon, cut paper, strips of cloth or bamboo. Traditionally, hexagonally woven items are found round the world as flat mats & wall panels, as well as shaped things like basketry & headgear.
